Weekly Challenge #8: Vintage Elements & a Sketch!




We were to:
use the sketch provided and create a project with a vintage feeling. We will be watching for soft, muted colors, silhouette images, aged metals, lace trim, doilies, ephemera, fabric, vintage buttons, etc. Please include a minimum of three Vintage Elements on your project.
This was a good thing for me to do. It got me going on some scrapbook
pages for the last few days of my parents' lives.
Supplies:
Cricut Imagine
Cricut Gypsy
Carts used through Gypsy: Heritage and Love Struck 2010
Imagine was a shape on the machine itself.
Paper: the pattern paper was some I have had for a long time and I do not know
who made it or what it is called. Sorry.
White and black cardstock.
Adhesives: ATG, Terrific Tacky Tape, 3D Glue Dots, Xyron
Cat Eye Ink: Old Rose
Flowers: Prima Flowers Handmade
Ribbon: Lush Ribbon by My Mind's Eye Pink

A Few Christmas Ideas of things I have made

So fun to alter things around the house. The about is a clipboard. The peacock is from French Manor. This is also my Weekly Challenge #9: Black Friday Challenge! You can buy clipboards from Walmart and decorate them to look expensive with paper and Stickles.

Thank You Color Challenge



This week's Cricut Circle challenge was to create a card using Magenta, Apricot, Deep Olive and Bright Yellow. This is my creation.

Cricut Circle Fine Feathered Friends Challenge








I loved this challenge. I am a bird lover.I had some hummingbird photos that needed to be on a scrapbook page.

Supplies:
Cricut Expression
Gypsy using George and 50 States cartridges
Paper: Pink with fuchia line flowers, White cardstock
Stickles: Waterfall, lavender

Birthday Sketch Challenge







This week for the Cricut Circle Challenge the theme was Birthday. We were to follow a sketch, use a button and the theme of birthday. This is my creation for the challenge.

BOO!!! Challenge for Cricut Circle


Creating for Halloween is sooooo fun! Here is my creation for the Boo!! Challenge for Cricut Circle:



Stand them up with a piece of cardstock glued to the backs (careful no to allow them to show through the vellum)



Screens are made with vellum. Put a battery candle behind them to light them up a bit

Pants and witches dress are lined with Stickles to add texture


Her is given texture by using Dimensional Fabric paint

Eyes are craft wiggle eyes
Add sparkle with Stickles
