MOLD MOLD MOLD and MORE MOLD! Please no more motels!

On March first we had to leave our home due to mold. It seems (although the insurance company and others can't agree) that our roof had damage and allowed water into our home without knowing. When we discovered it, our ceiling in our kitchen was sagging with water and mold had filled one wall. What a mess! We had to leave the home for health reasons so it could be taken care of. I am severely allergic to mold as well as my mother who lives with us. We stayed in a motel for 18 days. The bill was $4000. The repairs for the home are about $7500 not including the repairs for the roof. and the insurance would not pay for motel and not even half of the repairs. We had the mold removed so we could move home but the repairs are not finished. Somehow we have to work through repairing them on our own. Removing the mold cost $2400. Here are a few pictures of the mold damage. There are more pictures to more damage other places on the roof but I don't have access to them at this time. We also had to have an exterminator to get rid of mice there were attracted by the water. YUCK!

Disney swaps for the Cricut Message board

I have been the organizer of many Disney book swaps for the Cricut message board. We recently completed our first swap. Here are pictures of the sorting. I will post pictures of some of the layouts that people created when I have the time to make them (don't hold your breath I don't have a lot of time). I will also post who made them. Thanks for your patience.

Another altered book for my Secret Sister

I had so much fun making the altered book for the Spring swap that I made another one for my Secret Sister using pinks. purples and yellows.

Make 5 cards for March

The March Make 5 Card class was a lot of fun as always. Isabell from Roberts Crafts in Provo is the best. Everything is inked with Chestnut ink Cat eyes.

I made this cute altered clear tin for my Spring swap. The tin and rub ons are from Provo Craft.

Ribbon, brads and Buttons for Spring swap

I used ribbons, brads and buttons on this cute book for my Spring swap. I have always wanted to make a cute book so I jumped at the chance and made it using the embellishments required. We are Memoried made the paper and its the Precious metal collection.

Frames and cards for Spring swap

I made these cards and frames for my Spring swap. The bunny and frog stamps are from Peechy Keen stamps and the mouse is a House Mouse stamp (my favorite stamps).

Pastels for swap

I made these cute items with pastels for my Spring swap. The eggs were cut with Doodlecharms cartridge. The lambs and bunny are foam pieces. I totally love the dragon. It was cut with the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I didn't want to send him on his way. Guess I will have to make one for me.
