Cozy Kitchen Recipe box with cute DS Stitches Bear Kitchen

For today's project for Kadoodlebug Designs, I choose to combine two files. The file from Kadoodlebug Designs is called DS Stitches Bear Kitchen and one is from Dreaming Tree called Cozy Kitchen Recipe box.

The DS Stitches Bear Kitchen file has the bears that I colored with Spectrum Noir markers and Color Blend pencils. I glued them to the recipe card dividers in the recipe box.

I used paper from DCWV The Violet Leaf Stack. I also used plain Coordinations cardstock. The holographic paper used for trim is from Hot Off the Press. I added gems from Studio G to some of the trim. Some edges are inked with the Color Box chalks and inks. 

This was a fun project and hope you will like it too.

Coloring with Spectrum Noir Metallic Pencils

Recently Spectrum Noir released products, Metallic Pencils and Colorista dark pads of paper with thick spot UV. It is black paper with ridges that make of the drawing.

These pages are from Under the Sea and Designer tags 2.

The metallic pencils shine brightly when colored on dark paper. The thick spot UV does not allow the pencils to color on it so it creates the back lines on the drawing just as the ink on white paper does. 

The Metallic Pencils can be colored on plain black paper without the thick spot UV.
